TY too, Michael - All of this is such interesting stuff. I'll share two of my favorite quotes from Enlightened guys. You probably know Bodhidharma. He traveled from India to China around 500 AD. The story goes (Perhaps it happened this way, but perhaps the story grew over time. Who knows...) that the Emperor of China, having heard of him and being quite impressed, went to meet him at the border. The Emperor asked him what was the essence of his message?

Bodhidharma just said "Emptiness, no holiness."

I also particularly love Dogen, who was in Japan around 1200 AD. Soto Zen comes from him. He once said "Everyone thinks time is passing them by. They're wrong. It stays right where it is."

Oh, this just occurred to me: That's exactly the same as what Einstein derived mathematically, that time is not a separate linear thing, like some ruler, but we somehow ended up living not in a 3 dimensional space, but actually in a 4-dimensional space- time. So actually, where can time go? The rest of space stays "right where it is," so time has to, too.
