Trying to read in between the lines, as they say, from Putin's recent demands/announcements, my take is that oddly, somewhat like Trump, he's displaying a wooden detachment from reality. How long will the Russian military/political establishment and all the mothers/fathers/wives of those who are dying for no reason whatsoever be willing to stick with him?
