The information you're citing about the Russian regime trying to pull a fast one calling up reservists for "training purposes" when everyone will certainly know that the real purpose is to send them to Ukraine to die means not that Russia is preparing for a long war, but that they, the regime, are now desperate as they've lost so many people and nobody is volunteering anymore: The financial incentives and propaganda in all the impoverished provinces are no longer working - and trying to recruit from Iran! wow. And meanwhile, stuff coming out of North Korea, Kim Jung Un welcoming back soldiers in wheelchairs while it's also come out that the Russians were using the North Korean troops to clear mine fields! - well, I don't think even Kim Jung Un will be sending more.

Putin and his generals are desperate now. It's all falling apart. And Zelensky, quite intelligently, has even dropped NATO membership as a condition for ending perhaps the stupidest war since what? Hitler not letting the 6th Army withdraw from Stalingrad or actually sending them there in the first place.
