Oh, very well put! William Faulkner once said "The past is never dead. It's not even past." Of course, I'm thinking here of the Soviet Union, the workers paradise! I once ran across some propaganda Trotsky had written, maybe in 1921, about it. But reality is aways stronger than lies. Well, unless you're inside the brain of Donald J. Trump. Or Putin and Gerasimov. Look at Gerasimov's face in that picture! It looks like the moron's paradise, and it probably is.
So this is why it is such a difficult time now. Ukraine, with it's unleashed brilliance, and backed by Europe, is actually winning while Trump and his bizarre real estate golfing buddy, Witkoff, are, for whatever $$$$ corrupt reason they've got, trying to snatch a Potemkin Village victory out of the whole thing for Vlad and his pals.
