Larry, TY so much for all this extra information and update on Milgram's results!

For anyone who's not familiar with this seminal work, please read up on his experiments and the new work Larry has cited.

Trump's assault on reason and his stoking of pure mob violence - as he just did again in a "rally" a week ago - is hard to understand in the sense of so many ordinary citizens and Republican politicians blithely going along with what, to an outside observer, is obviously an attempted destruction of all the humane freedom and respect for each other that generations have fought to protect.
