I've got an idea. As mentioned in other articles, the concept of orbital data centers has so many ill thought out problems that it probably will, uh, never get launched.

So, OK, if xAI is somehow going to be the gateway drug for dope in space, then how to finance the whole damn thing?

Frog brains, my friends! Fucking frog brains.

Here's how it works: First of all, let's plant AI written fake research about networking orbital frog brains in little tiny spacesuits into LEO. Listen, how much does a Starlink satellite weigh? Ok, I did a little "research" as they say these days. According to Google & Wikipedia, most of the current Starlink constellation is made up of V2 Mini satellites, which range from 730 kg to 800 kg each.

Stay with me, guys! The average frog brain is just 100 mg.

How many Starlink satellites are currently in orbit? About 10,300.

So do the math. Take the high end, pun intended:

800 x 10⌃3 x 10,300 grams = 100 x 10⌃-3 grams.

8,240,000 x 10⌃3 grams / 100 x 10⌃-3 grams = x

x = 82.4 BILLION frog brains!

Shit, if you want to put AI data centers into space, the answer is obvious.

And really, guys, 2 frog legs per brain, we'll all be rich! With all the bitcoin we'll make, we can buy all the Nvidia chips that are already out there and the goddamned nuclear power plants ... and turn the whole fucking planet into a nature reserve utopia instead!

The answer was right in front of us the whole time.
