It's easy to write a scare story like this, but there's a lot more that's downright odd about Venus.
1) It's rotation period, ie, its day, is 243 days, and its year is 225 days! So one day is longer than a year, and even weirder, it rotates backwards! Don't take a vacation there, even if ChatGPT told you an hallucination about wearing some special swim trunks that would neutralize the sulphuric acid.
2) Its core doesn't generate a magnetic field, ie, no protection from high energy DNA disrupting ions from the Sun. (Mars doesn't have a magnetic field either. Or our own Moon.) Planetary scientists guess, and it does seem the obvious explanation, that because Venus almost doesn't rotate, the core doesn't spin to create a dynamo generated magnetic field.
You did mention about the phosphine gas high up in the clouds, and I also am intrigued by the absolute possibility of simple life forms high up in those clouds.
We are, of course, creating a CO2 regime here on Earth quite similar to what it was in the mid-Pliocene around 3.3 million years ago. See this article: https://earth.org/atmospheric-co2-mirroring-levels-seen-15-m-years-ago/
As you know, life was doing fine then, but lol, clothes weren't invented till a long time after. You see where this is going. All the religious types are going to have to adjust a lot.
But yes, we are already in a climate disaster because of our own idiocy, filling the atmosphere with CO2 not seen in 3 million years. Just today, monsoon and cyclone caused floods have killed over a thousand people in SE Asia. And it's only going to get weirder and worse.
I used to be an optimist, but that's when I lived on the Moon.
