I used to work in tech support, but then it all went to hell when you could just hire uneducated droids who you only had to train in looking up shit in a knowledgebase. They didn't need to understand anything and you could pay them ... well, not much. Then we advanced to the internet and world-wide telecom, and you could offshore and pay them even less.

AI is happy just sipping a bit of electricity. Well, not just a bit, but that's another story.
