Hi William! It's true that, in what I like to call "the space between lives," one is everywhere, rather than being localized, as we feel ourselves to be while alive.

All the old religions put down being localized and call it "the ego." and, conversely. put a value judgement on the Universal state of consciousness, making it "holy."

In actuality, as shown in various areas of physics, both local and universal consciousness are completely real. The trick with real meditation, which is learning to feel and know the Universe, rather than, say, watching your stupid thoughts... the trick is to not wait till you're dead to be everywhere, but to learn how to perceive it when you're having a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning and talking to someone over the Internet. OK!
