Hi Margie! I guess this is tangential to most of your poem which, I guess I, too, have my version of ... but it reminds me: Mark Twain, apparently, was the 1st person to write a manuscript on a typewriter, Life on the Mississippi.

LOL - You surely also remember that there were once digital machines whose sole purpose was to process words (only.) What an antediluvian age!

Perhaps in the future (but hopefully not) we'll all have Metaverse Assistants who delve directly into our unconscious, and when we awake, they'll already have the story written.
