Hi Adelia - Thx so much again!

I have a book, The Romance Of Chemistry, and I love that quote from Kirchoff, "Chance favors the prepared mind."

Have you ever seen the video of Richard Feynman cutting thru all the BS when he was on the commission exploring why the Challenger blew up? They were arguing & arguing if the O ring was at fault due to the cold temperature. Arguing and arguing...

He had a pice of the rubber in a glass of ice water on national TV. He took it out, hit it with a hammer. It shattered.

It's interesting because one of the ground rules for science is to remove the observer and just look at the data. Back in the 1500's, they had to try and get rid of 2000 yrs of BS from Aristotle & religion, with a priori thinking...

Quantum Mechanics brought the observer back into the equation in an unexpected way.

And we're still not quite sure what to do about it.

OK! To be contimued...

Take care,

John
